From green initiatives to immersive engagements, MEET TAIWAN is stepping up its innovative MICE efforts at The Meetings Show APAC 2024.

At the heart of the Taiwan pavilion lies a dynamic and innovative exhibit centred around a Taiwan Convention and Exhibition Map, capturing the distinctive features of key exhibition halls in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung. Attendees are invited to explore the featured cities area, where they can discover the unique attributes of Taiwan's convention and exhibition hubs, accompanied by a wealth of literature, flyers, and captivating videos showcasing what makes Taiwan's venues stand out.

Moreover, representatives from Taiwan's leading PCOs, PEOs, and DMCs will be on hand to showcase their expertise and readiness in organising events in Taiwan. Among the 10 exhibitors are MEET TAIWAN, GIS Group Global, ICC TAINAN, Interplan Group, Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, K&A International, TW MICE Event & Destination Management, iMICE Integrated Marketing, Taiwan Tour Travel Agency, and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

In light of growing climate change concerns, Taiwan is taking proactive steps to address carbon impact. Last September, TITA launched the MICE Carbon Footprint & Evaluation System website, offering a Carbon Calculator and Carbon Reduction Capability Assessment toolset to help MICE players recognise and minimise their impact.

With over 581 conferences, exhibitions, and events scheduled for 2023, Taiwan is gearing up to host the International MICE Round Table Summit in June 2024 and MICE talk activities at Taoyuan Convention and Exhibition Centre in the fourth quarter. Looking ahead, the 2025 IAPCO Annual Meeting & General Assembly will mark a significant milestone for Taiwan's MICE industry.
